Ensuring Accuracy in Marketing Materials
Project: Quarterly Store Map Audits
As part of my role, I conducted quarterly store map audits to review and revise store location details, ensuring the accuracy of store directories, maps, and visual guides for future marketing materials. This map audit was conducted to ensure maps were accurate and up-to-date. Once updated, these maps would then be used in various marketing collateral across various channels. Below is an example of my work in updating outdated maps to reflect current landmarks and businesses.
Objective:
The primary objective of this audit was to provide accurate visual references for customers to locate our storefront locations. Once maps were updated, these maps were then incorporated into a variety of marketing materials and marketing campaigns, which led to improved brand recognition and provided ready-for-use materials for the marketing team, streamlining future processes.
Process & Contribution:
Reviewing Current Materials: Reviewed and cataloged current store map creative via Adobe Illustrator files and organized these files into digestible chunks relevant to each regional manager's territory
Collaborating with Regional Managers and Local Store Associates: Provided store maps to regional managers and local store associates to help identify potential areas of revision, collaborating via phone and email over a variety of weeks until reviews and revisions were completed
Quality Assurance: Cross-checked store maps and updated maps based on provided regional manager and local store associate feedback, completed a verification approval process with each regional manager, and then, once approved, each store map was replaced in the department filing system, and team members were alerted once ready for use
Impact:
Ensured the accuracy of multi-channel marketing materials and helped maintain brand consistency
